Mr.K.Raghunandan, gave a Welcome address and introduced the Chief Guest Mr.Y.Dhananjaya, Director - in- Charge, National Test House, Taramani who graced the occasion by hoisting our National Flag, leading in Oath taking and delivered Independence Day message highlighting on need for avoiding pollution, reducing usage of plastic etc and its impact on agriculture, productivity, Mother Earth, future generations. Dr.S.Seshadri gave a brief note on natural resources, achievements, prospects of research available in India. Dr.N.Unnamalai and Mr.V.Chakrapani shared thoughts and motivated youngsters to take up research with sound knowledge to lead. Dr.K.Perumal highlighted deliberations and achievements of MCRC and proposed vote of thanks
