Image Forming Techniques for Quality TestingBack

Three different holistic image-forming techniques – Circular Paper Chromatography, Sensitive Crystallization and Picture Rising Chromatography are being used to test the quality and vitality of food products. These methods for food testing are novel approaches, which can also be employed to distinguish the organically grown crop product from that grown using synthetic chemicals. These techniques deal with formative force, life force, photosynthetic process and qualitative status of nutrients in plants. Standardized procedure consists of sample preparation, image development, image evaluation & interpretation and statistical analysis. Efforts are being made to standardise the techniques to test the organic nature of crops like grapes, onion, chilly, spinach, tomato, cabbage, moringa and mango.
